A BIT ABOUT SARAH

Sarah grew up and lived in the Stourbridge area of the West Midlands for most her life being surrounded by historic industrial sites & not far from the tranquility of the neighbouring countryside, She is now based in Shropshire, this has been an inspiring environment with much of Sarah’s work featuring nature combined with man made aspects. She graduated from Wolverhampton University in 2003 with an honours degree in ceramics before setting up a creative workshop where she continues to develop a unique range of ceramics, which prove popular at many exhibitions, galleries & outlets around the UK. She also produces fine art paintings & other non ceramic three dimensional sculptures and crafts pieces which have also been exhibited. Over the years she has been fortunate to obtain a number of commissions for public art pieces, ranging from ceramics, stained polycarbonate, fused glass through to garden structures. Sarah also runs a number of arts and crafts sessions for schools, children's centres. social groups and many other organisations, she also undertakes short & long term artist in residence projects covering many subjects.
